Three Arrested and One Injured in Lompoc Shooting

Summary :
On 11/10/22, at about 11:53 am, the Lompoc Police Department received several phone calls regarding multiple shots being fired around the 600 block North Fourth Street. When officers arrived, they located a 36-year-old male with a non-life-threatening injury. The male victim was transported to the hospital for medical attention.

Through the investigation, Detectives learned there was a vehicle involved. Detectives, with the support of patrol, made a traffic stop on a vehicle related to the shooting. Three individuals were inside of the vehicle. The investigation revealed three firearms inside the vehicle, including a non-serialized handgun commonly referred to as a “Ghost gun” and a sawed-off shotgun. One subject was arrested for the possession of the guns, the female was arrested for her warrants and the driver was cited in the field for driving a motor vehicle with no license. The shooting remains under investigation.

The following subjects were arrested:

Celena Garcia, 36-years-old; Arrested for warrants.

Andrew Simonsarmstead, 29-years-old; Arrested for Felon in Possession of Firearms and Possession of a Short-Barreled Rifle.

Jordan Canely, 26-years-old; Cited in the field for being an unlicensed driver.
