On December 13, 2025, at approximately 8:28 AM, Santa Barbara Police Communications received a 9-1-1 call about an unreported stolen bicycle with a GPS device pinging from inside a hotel room at the Agave Inn, located on the 3200 block of State Street.
Upon arrival, officers saw the stolen bicycle clearly visible through the hotel room window. Officers tried to contact two individuals inside, but they refused to answer the door or communicate.
Further investigation showed that the two occupants not only possessed stolen property but also had outstanding arrest warrants. The two ultimately surrendered to the officers waiting outside.
The suspects, identified as Adrian Rodriguez (27) and Amanda DeLuna (28), were booked into Santa Barbara County Jail for theft, narcotic-related offenses, resisting arrest, and their warrants.
