On April 25, 2026, at approximately 11:23 p.m., the Gang Suppression Team responded to the area of Grogan Park following reports of subjects drinking in public.
Upon arrival, GST officers contacted a group of approximately 10 individuals at Rancho Verde and Woodlawn. During the investigation, officers observed open containers of alcohol and evidence of public drinking. All individuals were detained without incident.
While checking the surrounding area, officers located a concealed firearm hidden under a fence. The weapon was identified as a Glock-style 9mm handgun with no serial number and a loaded magazine containing 17 rounds of ammunition.
One of the subjects later identified himself as the owner of the firearm and was taken into custody.
