Sunstone Winery will open the Sunstone Wine Lounge on March 19, at 1294 Coast Village Road in Montecito, marking the brand’s first off-site location and expanding its presence beyond its Santa Ynez Valley estate, the company announced.

Positioned as a modern, lounge-style counterpart to the winery’s old-world estate, the Montecito outpost will feature traditional tasting flights, wines by the glass, inventive wine cocktails, and Solis by Sunstone functional non-alcoholic cocktails, alongside curated cheese and charcuterie. Solis, Sunstone’s zero-proof line, launched in 2025.

“We designed the Wine Lounge around a more modern way of gathering—stylish, innovative, and wellness-aware,” said CEO Djamila Cabugos in the announcement.

She said the space, created in partnership with Cabana Home, reflects guests’ interest in organic viticulture, functional wellness, and authentic storytelling. The design pairs a contemporary, lounge-forward aesthetic with natural stone details and imagery from the estate.

President Teddy Cabugos described the venue as a “day-to-night experience that showcases our wines while introducing a new era of beverage consumption and adding to the vibrant heartbeat of Coast Village.”

According to the winery, the Sunstone Wine Lounge will be open seven days a week starting March 19, with hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

Reservations can be made by calling 805-688-9463 or visiting sunstonewinery.com.
