At around 5 am this morning I saw a couple flashes of lightening in the Goleta area. And then witnessed this really nice sunrise a little while later.

Aug 31, 2017 03:18 PMI miss these. The one joy of reading Edhat was seeing the pretty pictures dispersing the negativity of Roger's crime blotter. Now it's wall to wall crime and the horrible things people do to each other with no breaks. SAD. Anyway ... lovely photos and thank you for sharing them..

Aug 31, 2017 05:02 PMBeautiful photos! Oceandrew, I miss the old Edhat, too. This one is sterile and rather unfriendly. The old one was like being at home. Loved Rogers comments, more news daily. This is ok, and I'll get used to it...but I'll always miss the old Edhat.

Aug 31, 2017 05:26 PMBeautiful, definitely tropical looking. I think to get sunrises and sunsets back people need to send in photos. When we had plenty of the colorful sun pictures some commenters complained about there being too many (not me, I love them). I'm certain we'll all get our footing here eventually.
