Santa Barbara County firefighters knocked down a garage fire in Goleta Valley on Wednesday morning.
At 10:20 a.m. crews responded to the 4500 block of Auhay Drive after receiving several calls reporting smoke. An engine from Santa Barbara City assisted in the response which found a single-family residence with a garage involved in heavy fire and smoke.
Firefighters secured a water supply and initiated an aggressive attack, knocking down the fire within 15 minutes. Crews will remain on scene doing overhaul operations and structure salvaging.
An investigator is enroute to determine the cause of the fire. There were no injuries.

There is a structure fire response in the 4500 block of Auhay Drive off Hollister Ave in Noleta. Unsure of the extent of the fire at this point. Fire Department down the street is responding with sheriff’s office in the area controlling traffic.
