Just after 3 am this morning Montecito Firefighters responded to a structure fire in a residence [in the 2000 block of Boundary Road].
Eventually, a total of 11 resources from 5 agencies were needed to locate and extinguish this relatively small fire from the crawl space and sub-floor, through the walls, and into the roof structure.
All of this work couldn’t be done without the great teamwork we get from all of our assisting agencies, including Carpinteria-Summerland Fire, Santa Barbara City Fire, Santa Barbara County Fire, American Medical Response, and Santa Barbara County Sheriff.
Luckily, no one was injured during the incident, and the fire was contained to a small total area of the large house.
