Strong Winds in Santa Barbara

Wind damage at 6:30 pm Monday on East Junipero. My palm was trimmed by the wind, luckily there was no major damage or injury.

The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts strong winds in SB Co. tonight & tomorrow, peaking 7-10pm on 12/25.

Light rain possible between SLO and Pt. Conception. Snow altitude may drop to 4,000ft. Coastal flooding possible 12/25 at high tide.

Take necessary precautions to stay safe.

  1. Instead of jumping every time someone says “Boo” it helps to understand the context in which winds are dangerous. When it’s 50º to 65º outside you can chillax and put your fear monger on hold. But by all means wait for Roger to tell you what to do if that’s what floats your boat.
