State Route 246 Resurfacing in Lompoc Begins Next Week

A resurfacing of State Route 246 between “V” Street and 7th Street will begin on Monday, October 2. Motorists will encounter one-way reversing traffic control Sunday night through Friday morning during the overnight hours from 7 pm until 6 am. Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 10 minutes.

This project is expected to be complete by the end of October. The contractor for this $255,000 project is the R. Burke Corporation of San Luis Obispo, CA. For traffic updates in Santa Barbara County, motorists may call Caltrans District 5 Public Affairs at 805-549-3318 or can visit our website.
