  1. Ban knives? Oh I see, because you don’t like your guns being restricted? Look, knives have uses other than killing / maiming. Assault rifles do not. They are tools designed with one, single purpose: to kill humans. So no, there is no need to ban a tool that, when used in a manner not intended (knife, baseball bat, sharp stick, etc) cause injury or death. BUT, when a tool is designed solely to kill as many humans as quickly as possible, then yes, there SHOULD be some restrictions / limitations on how they are sold. No civilian needs the types of guns used in Las Vegas.

  2. Do you ever wonder what Porter & Williams would do to combat crime in the north county as Supes? That’s one scary thought! All they plan on doing is saying “YES” to all oil company related requests to drill, frack & ruin the environment because they have accepted so much money in contributions. Beware of both these two faced individuals, voters!

  3. Norwegian “socialism” floats on the wealth of North Sea oil. Don’t lie about fossil fuel extraction industry, since is is paying off handsomely for Norway.. No reports of “enivornmental destruction either”. What is the real agenda behind the hyperbole and disinfomration campaign about the very beneficial oil industry in this county? One major incident decades ago, a few minor spills quickly mitigated but blown up in wild distortions by the press and social activists. Who benefits destroying a very capable wealth generator in this county? That is what I don’t understand.

  4. Bruce Porter is doing all he can to get the UCSB kids to either not vote or vote back home with Mommy & Daddy because he knows they are all wise to him & his big oil/developer cronies. Don’t drink his cool aid! This man who likes to fall back on his veteran status & role on the local school board is securely in the back pockets of MANY out of county BIG donors. For example, check out his “Buellton First” shell PAC – headed by a Reno, NV person who has donated $110,000 as of last week! Hmmm S-H-A-D-Y to say the least.
