SR-192 Paving Project Expected to Be Completed Next Week

A project to pave a five-mile segment of State Route 192 from ½ mile east of Alamar Avenue in Santa Barbara to Cold Springs Road in Montecito will continue with final road work next week in the following location.

• Motorists will encounter one way reversing traffic control with a pilot vehicle on State Route 192 from east of Mission Canyon Road to Cold Spring Road on Wednesday, Dec. 6 through Friday, Dec. 8  from 7:30 am to 4 pm.

Electronic message boards will be activated to inform the public of this roadwork.  Delays not to exceed 15 minutes.  This additional roadwork is necessary to ensure a quality ride for the public.

The contractor for this $1.8 million project is C.A. Rasmussen Inc. of Valencia, CA.  This project is scheduled to be complete early this month.
