SR-135 Resurfacing Near Los Alamos Begins This Week

A project to resurface State Route 135 from north of Den Street to the San Antonio Creek Bridge, near Batchelder Road will begin on Thursday, August 12.

Travelers will encounter one-way reversing traffic control Monday through Thursday from 7 am until 5 pm and on Fridays from 7 am until 1 pm.  The speed limit within this work zone will be lowered from 55 to 45 miles per hour.  Delays should not exceed 15 minutes.

The contractor for this $4 million dollar project is Granite Construction of Santa Barbara, CA.  This project is expected to be complete this December.
