(Santa Barbara, Calif.) – Special Olympics Santa Barbara will be having their kick-off Torch Run Ceremony Wednesday, June 7th at UCSB Police Department.  Come out and support our local athletes and Law Enforcement Officers as they run with the Special Olympics Torch.  I have attached a copy of the Torch Run route as the Law Enforcement Officers make their way down through the Southern Santa Barbara County areas passing the Torch at the SB County line to continue to Long Beach.

We will have over 90 runners from the following Law Enforcement agencies:  Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s, Santa Barbara County Probation, Santa Barbara Police Department, Santa Barbara County DA’S, California Highway Patrol, UCSB Police Department, and California State Park Rangers.  All proceeds raised  by Law Enforcement support Special Olympics Santa Barbara Region.
