Update – On Friday, April 10 at 10:04 p.m., Falcon 9 launched 25 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base.

This was the 32nd flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, DART, Transporter-7, Iridium OneWeb, SDA-0B, NROL-113, NROL-167, NROL-149, NAOS, and now 23 Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which was stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

SpaceX is targeting Friday, April 10, 2026, for the launch of 25 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg, with a liftoff window from 7:39 p.m. to 11:39 p.m. PT. The U.S. Space Force has approved the Starlink 17-21 mission.

A live webcast will begin about five minutes before liftoff at https://www.spacex.com/launches/sl-17-21 and on X @SpaceX; the stream will also be available on the X TV app.

The mission will mark the 32nd flight for the Falcon 9 first stage assigned to this launch. The booster previously flew Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, DART, Transporter-7, Iridium OneWeb, SDA-0B, NROL-113, NROL-167, NROL-149, NAOS, and 22 Starlink missions.

Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You, stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

Residents of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties may hear one or more sonic booms during the launch, though what people experience will depend on weather and other conditions.
