SpaceX Set to Launch Starlink Satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Wednesday

SpaceX is gearing up for its next Falcon 9 rocket launch scheduled for early Wednesday morning. The launch, part of its ongoing Starlink mission, is set to deploy several Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low Earth orbit.

The Falcon 9 rocket is slated to lift off at exactly 7:20 a.m. from the SLC-4E launch site at Vandenberg Space Force Base. This mission, dubbed Starlink 9-17, marks another significant step in SpaceX’s efforts to expand its satellite internet connectivity.

Following the successful separation of its stages, the Falcon 9’s first stage booster will attempt a precision landing on the SpaceX droneship, ‘Of Course I Still Love You,’ stationed in the Pacific Ocean. This recovery is part of SpaceX’s commitment to reusability, reducing the cost of access to space.

The launch occurs shortly after sunrise, which may restrict visibility to within about 100 statute miles from the launch pad and along the rocket’s flight trajectory. Spectators hoping to witness the event should secure a vantage point early and consult local visibility forecasts.

For enthusiasts unable to watch the launch in person, SpaceX provides a live countdown and video feed available through their website, accessible at https://spacex.com/launches.

…note this time I actually included the date, & still “Gleaned” from SFN (spelled correctly this time I hope)? since it’s 7:05 currently I’m thinking this will be put off as there’s nothing on the home page saying anything about the launch, like it usually does… (speculation & guesses)
