SpaceX successfully launched 23 Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base using a Falcon 9 booster on Friday, January 24 at 6:07 a.m.
Coincidentally it was the 23rd time for Booster 1063, which then landed eight minutes later on the SpaceX drone ship, “Of Course I Still Love You,” marking the 118th booster that has landed on it. California residents from the Bay Area to Southern California were treated to a dazzling show of tangled contrails in the early morning light.
Here’s what it looked like at 6:22 a.m. (above) and 6:27 a.m. (below) in Santa Barbara.
