Snow Moon

The Snow Moon showed for a few hours on February 4 before clouds moved in. It’s known as the Snow Moon due to the typically heavy snowfall that occurs in other locations during February. On average, February is the United States’ snowiest month, but we in Santa Barbara know that only from weather reports as we enjoyed bright sunshine before the Snow Moon rose.
