There is smoke and a possible fire near the railroad tracks on the 1800 Block of East Cabrillo. Fire Department has responded.
Fire Department responded put out a warming fire..
Trains not stopped ok to continue through.
Sounds like a railroad tie was on fire maybe one along the side of the tracks..
Another fire by tracks. I don't like the term "warming" fire. That's an assumption. Maybe it was a __practice fire__ started by a violent person who wants to kill thousands of people and burn our town down. What would that fire be called. Maybe he's just waiting for a hot, dry, windy day.
What paranoia--maybe the camp was occupied by anarchists and anti-christs preparing for a zombie apocalypse.
There is nothing paranoid when it comes to fire they are unpredictable and violent there is no controlling a fire guy who lives near one of these camps told me 3 times his house has been on fire. 3 times. wanna call people names make your address public so we can tell the campers they have a new place to camp.

The fire department should now call in solid waste and put everything in that camp in the garbage hauler. It might take them an hour. End of one of dozens of illegal encampments along the tracks, from Montecito to north of Goleta.

I'm a homeowner in Santa Barbara who worked for 40 years to save enough to live here. I had to retire before I could live here and am hoping my house doesn't burn down from any one of these many fires started by many drug-fueled home encampments. I also don't want to see any deaths, theirs or ours, from these fires.
