Montecito Firefighters knocked down a structure fire within 13 minutes on Saturday, March 7, the department said.
Fire crews responded to the 1300 block of School House Road around 1:34 p.m. after receiving 911 calls.
Initial reports indicated a power pole caught fire and subsequently ignited a nearby garage. Crews arrived to find a small garage burning with damage isolated to the exterior.
Southern California Edison was called to inspect and repair the affected power pole. Santa Barbara City Fire, Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District and AMR assisted.
