On August 28, 2025, the San Luis Obispo Police Department was notified by the Western States Information Network (WSIN) of a threatening post made on the social media platform X by a user identified as Elijah King, a resident of San Luis Obispo.
WSIN is a law enforcement entity that provides criminal intelligence information to law enforcement agencies.
The post stated, “I’m going to blow up every synagogue in a 20-mile radius. This is a real threat, call the police and report me for terrorism.” The post was quickly removed by X as the post was in violation of their terms of service, and SLOPD Detectives immediately initiated an investigation.
In coordination with the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s office, SLOPD Detectives conducted an extensive investigation and on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the District Attorney filed formal charges against Elijah King:
- PC148.1(c): Felony False Bomb Threat
- PC 422.75: Felony Hate Crime Enhancement

On Friday, October 24, 2025, SLOPD Detectives located King in a parking lot on the 3900 block of S. Higuera and arrested him without incident. He was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on the above charges.
The San Luis Obispo Police Department would like to thank the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office and members of the local Jewish community for their cooperation and assistance throughout this investigation.
This is an active investigation. Please contact Detective Marques at 805-594-8060 with any information related to this investigation.

Chipper.
Another violent white terrorist. But yeah, let’s keep killing alleged drug dealers thousands of miles away from our shores instead of apprehending and prosecuting them…..
I don’t understand why it took so long for him to be arrested as his message indicated his actions were imminent. I would think he’d be picked up ASAP, but nearly a two-month delay seems like quite a delay. Unfortunately, we are seeing more and more of this type of behavior by individuals such as this guy. It would be nice if California could lead the nation by increasing the budget for mental -health support and/or reinstating the “mental” institutions that Ronald Reagan closed in 1967. We’ve had nearly 60 years to reverse his horrendous decision, yet we continue to fail those who need our help. 60 years to not “right a wrong” is ridiculous.
