SLO Delicious
SLO Delicious was founded five years ago by friends Mike and Chef G, who opened their first business together during the pandemic. They faced significant delays from supply-chain issues and rising costs, but moved forward with the goal of creating a welcoming neighborhood bakery, they wrote in the post.
According to the owners, their aim was to to offer a space where customers could stop in for celebration cakes, workplace pastries, daily lunch items, or a friendly connection. From the beginning, the bakery received support from nearby residents and businesses.
SLO Delicious was designed as a boutique bakeshop featuring breakfast and lunch options, including frittatas, croissant sandwiches, a sandwich bar, salads, and a rotating selection of fresh-baked pastries. Besides, the bakery also served handmade chocolate truffles, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and other celebratory creations.
SLO Delicious is also a member of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce.
According to The Tribune, San Luis Obispo has witnessed another restaurant closure this month, with the closing of Burger Village. The San Luis Obispo location of Burger Village is not visible on the restaurant’s website. The closure of the restaurant has come after six years of operation.
