The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office announced they’re investigating the death of 45-year-old Brandy Vaughan, a prominent anti-vaccination activist.
Vaughan, a former Merck pharmaceutical representative, was an outspoken critic of pharmaceutical companies and created the nonprofit organization Learn The Risk, formerly named the Council of Vaccine Safety, that aims to educate people on the “dangers of pharmaceutical products, including vaccines and unnecessary medical treatments,” according to the nonprofit’s website.
The Santa Barbara resident and UC Santa Barbara alum stated pharmaceutical companies are intentionally making people sick for profit.
On Monday, the Sheriff’s Public Information Officer Raquel Zick posted an update on Twitter stating Coroners Detectives are conducting an investigation into Vaughan’s December 7th death of 45-year-old Brandy Vaughan of Santa Barbara.
“The decedent has been positively identified and the death is believe [sic] to be a result of natural causes based on an autopsy exam conducted last week. The final cause and manner of death determination are pending toxicology screening which normally takes 4-6 weeks,” Zick stated.
Vaughan had tens of thousands of followers throughout the world, some of whom are questioning the nature of her death and suggesting foul play.
“Rest in peace to my friend and fellow colleague and Activist and hero, Brandy Vaughan founder of Learn The Risk org. Brandi was just found dead by her only son, who is a minor, at such a young age. She posted publicly many times that if she were found dead it was foul play,” wrote Erin Elizabeth of Health Nut News wrote on Twitter.
Vaughan is survived by her son Bastian.

Bless your courage Brandy and I believe in angels. Once again–uniformed people have very “virulent” opinions to share and they do trying to shame us who have allergic kids. Kids cannot even attend school? Need note, and in California, they track doctors who sign off with actual facts of allergy and threaten if they have too many waivers? What? What if they are legitimate reactions. Get it yet? Just another Martyr for free speech against an empire out to drug us,no matter what. This is a medical matter not a political one. It is the mix (MMR) in the vaccine– getting it all at once that can cause problems.. Children under five get 16 shots of different vaccines, before age 5 some with horrifying names, serious reactions are covered by words like fever, flu like symptoms. Some do develop other disorders. Some require multiple doses at various intervals and use hyper-allergic multiple vaccines to save money (MMR). One cannot get a simple shot for measles without getting them all in one shot. There are real cases out there. Hundreds of them. There could be long term damage– and we will be adding COVID soon. #17 plus.
She was my friend. She was the bravest woman I ever met. She was an ex-big pharma employee who blew the whistle on Merck & others. She was a single Mother who spoke out despite daily break-ins to her house, street hassles, and constant death threats. She was in terrific shape and had recently been given a perfect health checkup for insurance purposes.

Wow….had no idea she was a local resident….many prominent people are anti-vax (not the least of which is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.). Mentioning the murder of Henry Han and family in this post, as well as the recent arrival of a letter notifying me of a upcoming hearing of conservatorship for my autistic grandson(who’s turned 18)has just slapped me awake. There is much we don’t know about vaccines and are own health practices; and to believe that the pharmaceutical companies have only benevolent motives is extremely naive, that they would resort to murder is a stretch, but given the obscene amount of money to be made, and being made, I wouldn’t eliminate it as a possibility.

Because as we all know, the primary purpose of the sheriff’s office is to reveal people’s private medical information and help the press put their personal tragedies on parade for entertainment purposes.
