The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office announced it is investigating a vandalism incident at Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta.
Between Monday evening and Tuesday morning several windows were reportedly shattered.
It’s unclear where the windows were located on the campus and if there are any leads. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (805) 681-4100.
The first day of the 2025-26 school year at Dos Pueblos began on August 20.

I think we’re seeing more petty crime from kids, from electric bike harassment, graffiti and vandalism to attacks on each other. With the increasingly toxic political arena and the spector of global enviromental disaster, maybe it’s inevitable since the prospects are so dim for generations starting out now unless they have extremely powerful, wealthy parents. Even then, they will have a dystopian situation all around them and inhabit a scary world in decay that may come to needing body guards, a patrolled, high-security compound to live in and no contact with anyone outside their tiny groups.
Luvaduck – When kids/anyone is able to see criminals not having much done against them when they commit a crime(s), it seems likely a kid is going to guess that not much will be done against them if they are caught. Adult criminals see light sentences being handed out for all types of crimes and because of this many don’t care if they are caught, so they continue their life of crime. I believe this is a problem created by liberals. Correct me if you believe I’m wrong and show me how I am wrong.

Yep. When the highest office in the land is occupied by a convicted felon, sexual abuser, and tax fraud, why should anyone follow or respect any law at all?
