Sheriff’s Deputy Tests Positive for COVID-19

On Sunday, October 17, 2020, a Sheriff’s deputy was found to be positive for COVID-19.

The deputy was not experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms and was tested in the community. The deputy last worked on Friday, October 16, 2020 in an assignment that did not involve contact with the public or with inmates.

This brings the total number of Sheriff’s Office employees who have tested positive for COVID-19 to 43, with 42 having recovered.
