Complacency? We dropped to the Red tier so everyone assumes we're out of it. Maybe, but now the new cases in IV have me concerned. 60 new cases in IV in the past 2-weeks since the start of fall quarter, with 40 of those in the past 7 days alone. I hope they get a handle on this or we'll be back up to the Purple tier, closed down again and receiving the daily county updates. Regarding the IV situation, I had business at a lab on campus and so I drove through IV this past Saturday night and it was packed. Parties at nearly every house with dozens of people mingling shoulder to shoulder without masks, and this was one day after the announcement of cluster of positive tests in IV. A population of 20,000+ living within 1.86 square miles sounds like a tinder box to me, and it didn't appear that anyone was the least bit concerned.

Don't forget that IV has Friendship Manor, a 'skilled living facility'. That's were the bulk of casualties have been nationwide, in 'skilled nursing facilities'.....
