Sex Crime Suspect Arrested in Fontana

On 05/12/20, Santa Maria Police Department detectives arrested Jason Taylor, 40, of Fontana, CA for lewd acts with a minor. Guadalupe PD and Santa Maria PD Detectives investigated a report in which Taylor contacted a female juvenile over the internet before traveling to Santa Maria to meet with her.

Santa Maria PD worked with detectives from Fontana PD as well as agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigations to locate and arrest Taylor. Taylor was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail; his bail was set at $250,000. Detectives believe there may possibly be additional victims in the Santa Maria area.
