Senior National Park Pass Price Increases in August

A lifetime Senior Pass for U.S. National Parks, age 62 up, can be purchased for $10.  The price is going up to $80 on August 28, 2017.  If you already have a Senior Pass, that will remain valid.  If you lose your pass, the price is $80 for a replacement.

You can buy the pass online, however, there is a $10 “convenience” fee.  Alternately, you can visit the Forest Service Office in Goleta, where there is no fee. We did this week.

A nice young man from Cal Poly, SLO, is serving a summer internship and he will help you. We didn’t call, we just showed up. There was no line.

Directions:  In Goleta, Storke/Hollister, go east on Hollister past K-Mart & Cajun Cafe, to the light on Coromar Drive (turn right, Cabrillo Business Park), to 6750 Navigator Drive (turn right) park in lot, to USDA Forest Service on 1st floor.  Open 8am – 4:30pm weekdays.  968-6640.
