Sashay is a senior mixed-breed dog currently for adoption at the Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter.  Approximately nine years old, arthritic, and sweet as can be, her favorite things are to lay on a comfortable bed, give you a kiss now and then, and get a good scratch behind the ears.  She is great with other dogs and kids and can be left alone without issue.  She is currently fostered on the weekend by a volunteer who can tell you all about her.  Please all any time: 805-500-3284.

Senior Dog Sashay Seeking Home After 424 Days at Shelter

My sweetheart long-hair chihuahua was in a shelter, too, at the age of 9. I needed someone to love, and a compassionate lady boss at the Goleta shelter had a keen eye and matchmaking skills. I went home with this dog, and named her Wishes. She's all my wishes come true. Best decision in a long time. We're both growing old together. I love her deeply.
