A semi-truck hauling a trailer crashed into a power pole on Upper State Street in Santa Barbara on Monday evening.

At 8:23 p.m., California Highway Patrol responded to the 4100 block of State Street for a reported collision. Officers discovered a semi-truck in a solo collision with a power pole in front of the Goodland Wine Shop.

There were no injuries and Southern California Edison was called to inspect the pole and power lines.

Another collision took place near the same area on Highway 101 southbound, just north of the State Street offramp on Tuesday morning.

At 7:42 a.m., CHP responded to the scene of a two vehicle collision with both vehicles ending up in the center divider. This crash caused a major backup in southbound lanes.
