Search Warrants in Carpinteria Connected to Homicide Case

By edhat staff

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted Los Angeles Police in the search of two Carpinteria residences connected to a homicide case, reports Coastal View News.

A Carpinteria man is believed to be a suspect in the missing person, and now possibly homicide, case.

The search warrants took place on Thursday at an apartment complex in the 4600 block of Carpinteria Ave where the suspect lives and a residence on Bailard Ave where the suspect’s mother lives.

A mother and daughter reportedly went missing while in the Los Angeles area before Christmas. Both women reportedly lived in Carpinteria at one time and their vehicle was found near the suspect’s residence on Carpinteria Avenue six weeks ago.

The suspect turned himself in to the Sheriff’s Office shortly after the search warrants on Thursday afternoon.
