School Violence Threat Investigation in Santa Maria

On Wednesday September 18, 2019 at 1300 hrs. Detectives from the Santa Maria Police Department responded to Tommy Kunst Jr. High for a report of school violence threats. Detectives contacted a 13 year old juvenile who made the threats and also spoke to the juvenile’s parents. The juveniles parents cooperated with detectives and there is no immediate danger to students or staff at Tommy Kunst Jr. High. The case will be forwarded to juvenile probation for review.
