Scary Stories Dominate Streaming This Week

By TV Jane

Netflix’s horror miniseries “The Watcher” has moved into the number one spot just in time for Halloween.

The series follows a family, starring Bobby Cannavale and Naomi Watts, who moves into their dream home in a New Jersey suburb, only to be plagued by ominous letters, strange neighbors and sinister threats. The scariest part? It’s based on a true story.

The rest of Reelgood’s Top 10 Titles in Streaming for this week (10/13/22 to 10/19/22) continues with the “Interview with the Vampire” reboot series dropping to #2 this week.

New on the list is Jamie Lee Curtis’ neverending movie franchise “Halloween Ends” at #3. Will Michael Myers finally be gone forever? Sticking with the upcoming holiday, the second installation of the terror/slasher film “Terrifier” comes in at #7, and “Hellraiser” at #9.

If you’re not into the spooky and scary stuff, you’re not alone. “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” is still holding strong at #6.
