Scanner Reports 9-13-17

I was getting ready for bed the other night, went outside for a minute and I heard a noise from the street like a car door slam. Then I saw a kitten run past my driveway, fast. Then I saw a white Nissan with a bunch of people with their door open in both lanes, then it sped up and disappeared. I went looking for the kitty, who disappeared. When I came back I noticed a burrito on the sidewalk. I picked it up it was wrapped and it was still warm. I threw it away. I got up this morning and went looking for the kitten, but did not find it. I hope it’s ok. If I find the little critter, I’ll take him or her to my vet, the Cat Doctors, along with Joey; he should go too. Then I’ll have two kitties like before. Neighbors have been BOLOed. I dislike jerks who dump animals out like that. Find the little guy a home. Of course, it could have been something much more sinister too. I have been hearing disagreements between neighbors, scumbags have been known to steal pets and dump them out far far away. Years ago when I lived in a rooming house in the 200 block of West Haley, the manager did not like that someone had a cat in the house so he got someone to dump the cat near Storke and Hollister. Ass hats are a good name for these people because that is what they are. On the other hand, if someone is missing a fur baby, either orange or white short haired kitty under a year old, let me know. Maybe we can find the little guy.
