It's a funny thing when you're out and about and see someone you think that you know. I saw someone the other day looked just like my friend Cuba. he was kinda far away but it was him, or so I thought. I nodded and went to say "Hello" only half came out as I realized it wasn't him, I turned away and continued on but looked back and I guess the person heard me because they were looking at me. So I looked back and they turned to continue on, but looked and they were looking at me again so I turned and looked, they turned and looked the other way I continued on my way. Ever have that happen? They had this "Where do I know that Big Ugly Guy from" look on their face. Cuba is tall and thin always wears a ball cap and sunglasses. This person had a ball cap on, ear warmers and mirrored sunglasses, they were walking to their vehicle which was a new Range Rover. I did not think about it at the time but this person was someone well known in disguise, who else wears ear warmers a ball cap pulled down and mirrored sunglasses. I did not know who they were nor did I care but once I realized they could be someone well known I really started to stare, when they turned to look at me I turned the other way than a second later sneaked a peek. They started looking paranoid and when they pulled away in their nice big SUV they had that Deer in the headlights look. That was kinda fun I should find some more people to stare at after all I don't have much of a life and this could turn things around for me. That person is probably still wondering who I am. Oh Well here are your Scanner Reports.

Wheelchairs have sizes. See if you can get a large size, battery-powered, wheelchair -- from the Loan Closet.

Keep walking on your own feet, your own power, as long as you can. But get helping devices when you need them. Better to use a walker than to fall down.

Roger, when you get your next apartment, make sure you have air-conditioning. Did you see the article in today's L.A. Times about "climate change will be deadlier more destructive and costlier", and deaths along CA coastline because most people don't have A.C. Free link from S.D. Union:

Not sure when I'm going to have to move everything is back to the way it was before now really don't know what is going on if I ever get another place I'll for sure have air conditioning but I may stay here till they knock down a wall and carry me out...I have been avoiding the Electris wheelchair because I see people get in them and never get out.

Well, Roger, when you need a walker check one out at Visiting Nurses' Loan Closet. They are nifty when you get one with a seat for taking breaks from walking.
