Scanner Reports 8-10-20

By Roger the Scanner Guy

A friend of mine was recently a victim of a crime at their home. The police showed up and investigated the crime. My friend asked what they could do to prevent this sort of thing from happening again and they were told to buy a gun. This person got mad at the police officer suggesting that they buy a gun for home protection. I have friends who are retired police officers who knew me when I was a drunk getting in trouble, though they know me now straight and sober no felonies on my record which consists mostly of Drunk in Public, Vandalism, stupid drunk crap the juvenile stuff don’t count. These police officers told me to buy a gun for home protection. I was a victim of violent crime several times when I was younger and I will not go through what I did again. Hopefully, there will never be a need for a gun. Some guy was running around the volleyball courts on Saturday threatening to rape and kill females, a woman witnessed it and was willing to sign a complaint. The police looked around, some guy ran from them. I don’t know if they ever found the guy. Someone commented that the guy was mentally ill and I should understand that. I do understand that. I understand that sex offenders are considered to be mentally ill, arsonists, also mentally ill. I was a victim of violent crime when I was young and I will no longer be a victim. People have the right to protect themselves from criminals, Mentally ill or otherwise. Here are your scanner reports.
