Santa Barbara, where some people are allowed to break the laws, others are not, and the bad people are the homeless. Here are your scanner reports.

Scanner Reports, Friday:

  • Bicyclist Down Head Injury 700 Block of Rincon Hill Road.
  • Medical call 3880 Via Lucero
  • Subject throwing barricades a homeless man a transient being bad. Bad Transient BAD!, BAD!!,BAD!!!
  • Traffic Accident 101 Southbound near Olive Mill road involving a Toyota Tacoma.
  • BIG CAMP THAT NEEDS CLEANUP 3900 BLOCK OF STATE STREET.
  • Follow up on a case 425 East Cota someone went to jail.
  • Subject most likely a TRANSIENT because as you know they are the only bad people in Santa Barbara causing a disturbance at Stop and Rob in the 800 Block of North Milpas street.
  • Annoying female refusing to social distance 6500 Block of Picasso
  • 130 South Patterson Vehicle Fire.
  • Juvenile setting off fireworks 331 West Montecito.
  • Vegetarian Fire Southbound on ramp at Fairview big fire glad it was put out.
  • 154 At West Camino Cielo non injury vehicle accident.
  • A very BAD transient was disturbing at the Honor Bar on CVR.
  • Report of subjects playing basketball at McKinley School OMG FELONS BREAK OUT THE BEARCAT!
  • Transient wandering in traffic Hollister at South Fairview.
  • Shoplifter at Rite Aide 35 South Milpas a male attempted to steal over a hundred dollars worth of electronic crap and Thy Great Blessed Tina caught him red-handed, I guess he won’t be shoplifting there for awhile.
  • I heard there were copter flyovers on the beaches Butterfly as well as Santa Claus, Santa Claus was packed with beachgoers even though the beach was supposed to be closed. I guess it would be too hard to ticket all those people who just want to have a good time at the beach they need a break…It’s OK to break one little law once in a while but then again there is the BEAR CAT
  • Then there was this guy on the commuter bus visiting from Ventura spitting on other people on the bus 20 Year old male dressed in a red Spiderman shirt stopped in the 200 Block of South Milpas I don’t think anyone pressed charges  it was just a disturbance that he was spitting on others on the bus, funny I thought it was assault. He should not be allowed to wear a spiderman shirt anymore.
  • Drunk on a bicycle Pacific Oaks at Hollister, Drunk bicyclist fell off of the bicycle as was expected.
  • 500 Block of East DLG Street 242pc Assault.
  • 400 Block of Chapala street 459 Burglary investigation.

 

Scanner Reports, Saturday:

  • For the most part, the 4th of July was quiet until the evening anyway then I realized the Fireworks show wasn’t cancelled at all just moved to the East Side of town.
  • Cabrillo at Garden streets report of a woman trying to jump in front of a train with an unidentified male attempting to hold her back. It was reported to be in town but it actually occurred in Montecito the police searched the tracks from Montecito to the West of the train station and found nothing.
  • Smoke check Goleta near Patterson.
  • Premises check on one of the footbridges did not hear which one but anti-police signs were being posted on the bridges so maybe it was on a couple of them.
  • Suspicious subject possibly doing drugs in a blue jeep in the 200 Block of Selrose.
  • Missed location but a dog was stolen from the bed of a pick up truck and the suspect was caught police were responding.
  • Fire reported out inside 15 East Cabrillo.
  • 3400 Block of Richland medical call.
  • Smoke Investigation Southbound at Fairview possible rekindling of fire  but someone was seen leaving the scene subject was in an either dark blue or purple car and possibly in the back parking lot of McDonalds. The subject a female left her vehicle was headed past an auto body shop toward the laundry mat female with brown hair 5’3 looks like a librarian I don’t know if she was involved or what?-
  • Dog bite 3400 Block of Pinewood.
  • Code 2 Medics for a woman hit by a vehicle 28 East Victoria.
  • Med call Indio Muerto at Milpas.
  • SBPD on a group behind Ross Dress 4 Less.
  • 200 Block of Hutton East of the Santa Maria Bridge brush fire.
  • Med call 100 Block of Bath street.
  • Fire dept. Public assist 1400 Block of Kowalski.
  • Med call 1500 Block of Garden street.
  • Med call Shoreline Park 1200 Block of Shoreline.
  • 415 Fight and injuries at the skate park 100 Block of East Cabrillo
  • Jumper  Subject on top of the bathrooms at Marina 3 threatening to jump.
  • 1300 Block of State 242pc subject choked r.p.’s husband…R.P. Followed the subject to the 900 Block of State street there was a 415pc police responded heard no more.
  • 1000 East Haley medical call.
  • Subject brandishing 2 Swords, because 2 swords are better than one in the 500 Block of East DLG.
  • Adult male with a baseball bat chasing juveniles who were lighting fireworks in the 400 Block of West Sola.
  • Injury traffic accident DLV at Carrillo city police involved responding to West Sola.
  • A subject was riding a bicycle and threatening to kill people in I.V. 

 

 

Scanner Reports, Sunday:

  • Ventura County Westlake Blvd at Sycamore Canyon Drive Brush Fire.
  • 900 Block of West Morrison Structure Fire response.
  • Suspicious circumstances a woman thought she saw her stolen I-Pad in a car parked at the Hilton 633 East Cabrillo Blvd. Did not hear anything else about it so maybe she made a mistake.
  • Escapee from the sober center near county jail maybe armed with a bottle of booze and hiding in the bushes.
  • Camper female on a porch in the 800 Block of Olive street.
  • Two 14 Year Olds doing H&S Drugs at Skaters Point 100 Block of East Cabrillo.
  • 100 Block of Castillo Medical call.
  • 100 Block of South Turnpike Porch camper a female.
  • 242pc Assault investigation at the police station.
  • Water leak Las Positas at Cliff Drive.
  • North San Marcos at Calle Real traffic accident. big black pickup truck vs multiple vehicles sounds like the driver might have been UI. But not sure also sounds like a few vehicles were hit.
  • Cliff Rescue Shoreline Drive at Harbor Way dog rescued 10 feet up on a cliff.
  • Medical call 3505 State street.
  • Subject with a knife 6600 Block of Picasso.
  • Premise check Franklin School.
  • Homeless man in a wheelchair escorted out of Church by Church Security Calvery Chapel One North Calle Caesar Chavez, Unruly passenger on the Amtrak La Patera in Goleta.
  • 20002 Non injury hit and run 400 Block of Flora Vista.
  • 900 Block of North Morrison Assault victim.
  • Bettervia at Simas Traffic Accident unknown if injury.
  • Non injury traffic accident vehicle into a pole Milpas roundabout.
  • Traffic accident minor injuries Bettervia at Black.
