Scanner Reports 4-5-19

By Roger the Scanner Guy

I took a long walk yesterday, something I should not have done because I’m in agony now. While on my walk I saw a homeless man with all his belongings camped out by Office Max. He had a lot of stuff and was sleeping on some of it. It looked like a big bed and I thought he looked like King Henry the 8th. I half expected him to sit up, grab a big turkey leg from somewhere and take a hearty bite.

On one side we got these folks sleeping everywhere because they are homeless for whatever reason they are out there, some take advantage of everything and everyone, some just want to sleep and be left alone. Then there are these others who are angry and pretty much want the homeless dead, there seems to be no one in the middle these haters. I can call them something else but not here, blame liberals and they want them all dead too. I’m tired of listening to them cry like giant Baby Huey’s. They are everywhere too like the homeless who have no home, these haters have nowhere to scream so they leave their hateful turds in the comment sections of whatever online source they can.

Today there was a big ugly guy wearing a MAGA Hat on Facebook blaming everything on liberals and promising to put one in ICU if one of them knocks his MAGA hat off his head. I’m tired of these human turds and their bullying ways, I’m too old for this Stupid Shit. Grow Up for crying out loud..I’m not criticizing the folks who want the illegal activities of some of the homeless to stop I do also. But not all of the homeless folks are committing crimes though, to some their being alive is a crime. Why in the hell would I want to walk up to some jack ass strutting around like a rooster and knock a stupid hat off his head? Hairs your Scanner reports.

  1. Hi Rodger, thanks for your reporting..
Seeing a lot of the homeless with cute, small, purebred dogs at Turnpike, Patterson, Downtown as well…
I thought they all fell safe with big dogs at night…seeing them with tiny pooches..a tactic I guess for money ?
Am horrified…how do they get mini Maltese, Yorkies, I have a purebred, and 2 rescues..
Wish animal control would step in…

  2. I’m not sure Winter if you are concerned I would call County Animal Control and ask them to check the welfare of the dogs. I don’t see anything wrong with them with pure bred dogs not all homeless folks are the same. There is a group of rough ins out there was vicious dogs but I think they are closer to town.

  3. Roger, here’s a question I have been perplexed by for years: Why do the police impound vehicles of people struggling to make ends meet? I have watched people loose jobs in a day and become homeless within the next couple of months over this, time and again. The independent impound yards that contract with the city charge hundreds of dollars a day to release the vehicle. Since it cannot be released without registration, the person who just spent their last dollar on food and rent for their family cannot scrape up another $500 or $600 to bail out the work truck, the families’ only vehicle. The bill get’s higher by the day and by the end of the week the family has to give up. How does the breadwinner find another job without transportation? How to they get to their construction or landscaping job in the heart of Montecito,. On a bicycle, with all of the tools of their trade? I think not. This policy encourages and mandates homelessness like no other. Can Mammal Control control themselves, perhaps practice compassion and understanding, or does everyone who is it illegal to struggle financially in this town?
