The other day I was walking up Milpas Street to get some grub, but what I really wanted was a good book to read. I used to be able to find good books at Catholic Charities on East Haley but with my old body falling apart I cannot walk too good anymore. So I was just going to go to Trader Joe’s for food but my mind was telling me maybe there’s a good book. So I kept walking slowly with my walker, it was hot outside and I hadn’t eaten or had much water. It was afternoon, I wasn’t feeling so well. I was afraid I might have a heat stroke so I decided to stop at 7-11 in the 400 Block of North Milpas. As I was heading toward the store on the East Sidewalk I noticed a male walking toward me, he was giving me the old stare down. Suddenly he broke into this Karate Kid display, a couple kicks in the air about the height of my head, a few punches in the air staring me down as I pushed my walker the whole time. Great I thought Weirdos going to want my money and I ain’t giving it to him, I’ll give him the walker though. I took a right up the sidewalk toward 7-11, he took a  left walking through the parking lot. He beat me to the door and stared at me as I opened it myself pushing my walker through. I got water and gum then headed out. The guy wasn’t by the door, I wondered where he went as I headed North I noticed he was sitting at the bus stop looking at me through the plants and weeds in the front of the stores planters. He looked frightened then realized he must have seen my 200 Channel old Radio Shack Scanner sticking out of my pocket and thought I was Undercover, Undercover 5150 Roger Dodger. I continued on to Catholic Charities and was rewarded with two books: “Black Hawk Down” and an old Ed McBain, they should keep me busy for a couple days. Everyone reads that Kindle crap, there is hardly any used books in the thrift stores and that is a real bummer. HERE are YOUR SCANNER REPORTS.

• On an occupied vehicle Toyota Tundra with no license plates 1000 Block of Garden street
• Padaro at Santa Claus Lane 50 Juveniles on Bicycles at 3 pm CHP contacted Traffic Hazard.
• 415 Domestic 1000 Block of Alphonse police were unable to locate the location of the domestic they were there looking for at least a half hour Unable to Locate.
• A Vehicle hit a curb then was blocking traffic in the 3200 Block of State street.
• 415pc on Brinkerhoff 3 Subjects trying to take a vehicle from a property on that block.
• SBPD foot Patrol 400 Block of State street.
• Possible 5150pc Issue in the 300 Block of West Padre.

• The transients are still sitting on the Bus Bench with all of their property in front of Smart and Final 217 East Gutierrez.

• Suspicious Male taking pictures of children 1400 Block of Santa Barbara street Male wearing dark clothing red shoes, walking a small dog last seen heading toward Alice Keck Memorial Gardens Park.

• Donut Robber Manic acting female in yellow/tan scrubs and blue shoes from Cantwells Market 1533 State street the store called it in but did not want to press charges the criminal was stopped in the 1400 Block of State street. A few hours later the Creep went back to Cantwells and cussed out the employees they should have cussed her out.

• 200 Block of West Sola 273.5 Domestic Violence attempt to choke, brandishing a knife I was hoping she finally got rid of that abusive male too but I guess some people get so lonely they are willing to put up with the abuse.

It’s the beginning of the month time to pay your rent, your bills, buy groceries hold on to your purses and wallets because someone out there wants yo rip you off.
