Santa Barbara County Fire crews contained a garage fire Wednesday afternoon at a Santa Ynez home, preventing it from spreading to the residence, officials said.
Firefighters were dispatched at 4:21 p.m. on March 11 to the 240 block of Meadowlark Road and achieved knockdown at 4:38 p.m.
The incident, referred to by officials as the “Indian Incident,” was limited to the garage, with no extension into the house or attic.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
