Residents of Santa Maria are getting a brand new grocery mart option. A sign for Sprouts Farmers Market was spotted at 2170 Bradley Road, in the Crossroads at Santa Maria center near Walmart, signaling the chain’s arrival in the city.

Sprouts to Offer Fresh, Affordable, and Organic Produce in Santa Maria

Sprouts is a grocery chain that prides itself on its health-focused options, which have roots in farmers’ markets. According to its website, the chain “pioneers a unique grocery model that’s good for you, good for your family, and good for the planet.”

The chain offers a variety of natural and organic products at affordable prices to meet the grocery needs of the general public. Since it was founded in 2022, Sprouts has seen exponential growth across the country, with over 380 stores nationwide, including two locations on the Santa Barbara South Coast and one in San Luis Obispo.

Westar Associates, a Newport Beach-based real estate company, announced the signing of a lease with Sprouts Farmers Market at Crossroads Santa Maria stating it’s a is a thriving retail destination located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 101 and Betteravia Road.

“The center is home to national and regional tenants including Walmart, Home Depot, TJ Maxx, PetSmart, and Best Buy. The arrival of Sprouts Farmers Market will further enhance the center’s offerings, providing the local community with a leading source of fresh, natural, and organic foods,” the press release stated.
