A school bus in Santa Maria crashed into a fire hydrant on Thursday morning.
Before 9:00 a.m., a Santa Maria Joint Union High School District bus carrying one student backed into a fire hydrant in the 500 block of E. Sunset Ave in Santa Maria.
Only one student was on the bus at the time, heading towards Pioneer Valley High School.
There were no other vehicles involved and no injuries.
