Santa Maria Police Seeks Help In Identifying Robbery Suspect

The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating several liquor store armed robberies which occurred over a two-month period. 

SMPD is seeking assistance identifying the suspect who is believed to be armed and dangerous. The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, possibly in his mid to late 30’s, medium build, armed with a handgun. 

On multiple occasions, the suspect entered the liquor stores and pointed a handgun at the clerk, demanding money. The suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money during the robberies. On 10-28-20 the suspect is believed to have robbed three businesses throughout the city in a short period of time.

SMPD Detectives continue to investigate the incidents and are asking the public not to approach or contact the suspect if seen, but instead contact SMPD by calling 911 in case of an emergency.
