Santa Maria Police Seek Assistance in Homicide Investigation

The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Santa Maria resident KEVIN NUNEZ-ESCAMILLA. A photo of him is attached for review.

On 12/18/20 at approximately 1622 hours, officers responded to the 800 Blk of W Donovan Rd in response to shots heard in the area. Upon arrival, officers located a male adult with a fatal gunshot wound. The unknown suspect(s) fled the area prior to police arrival.
