Santa Maria Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

On 4/10/20 at approximately 1552 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1500 blk of S. Broadway in response to a robbery that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim who stated that he was approached by a male subject who drew a handgun from his waistband, pointed it at him, and demanded money. After taking the victim’s money, the suspect fled the area on foot. The victim was uninjured.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, last seen wearing dark pants, blue & red jacket, and a camouflage ball cap.

This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the Santa Maria Police Department Detective Bureau.
