On January 17, 2026, at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers were patrolling the mall parking structure at 120 E. Main St. due to trespassing and underage drinking complaints.
Officers contacted several juveniles consuming alcohol when one juvenile fled on foot and entered a nearby vehicle.
Officers stopped the vehicle and detained the 17-year-old male passenger, who was found in possession of a .40-caliber firearm.
The juvenile was arrested for firearm possession and related charges.
