On 7/4/25 at 2322 hours, Santa Maria Police Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Lolita for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival they discovered a male subject suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The male was transported to Marian Medical Center for medical treatment, however he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced as deceased.
The victim has been identified as Brandon Cabrera, a 25 year old resident of Santa Maria.
