On Saturday, February 28, 2026, at approximately 2203 hours, officers with the Gang Suppression Team were conducting patrol in the area of Miller Street and Chapel Street when they observed a vehicle fail to stop at a posted stop sign. A traffic enforcement stop was conducted.
During the investigation, the 19-year-old male driver was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm on his person.
Two additional occupants, a 19-year-old male and a 17-year-old male juvenile, were detained. Officers located two additional loaded firearms in the areas where the passengers had been seated.
All three occupants were arrested for weapons violations.
