Santa Maria Police Detectives Seek Assistance in 2018 Homicide Investigation

On Saturday, December 8, 2018 at approximately 0122 hours, Santa Maria Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Thornburg and Enos regarding reports of a shooting that had occurred. Upon arrival, officers located Adrian Alvarez, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Alvarez was later pronounced deceased at the scene. Today marks the two-year anniversary of this homicide. SMPD Detectives continue to actively seek information regarding this case.
