On November 6, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Santa Maria Police Department officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Chianti Lane in an effort to locate a wanted subject identified as Anthony Jacob Amador, 19 years old, a resident of Santa Maria.
Amador was wanted on an outstanding $1 million warrant for attempted murder, stemming from a domestic violence incident that occurred on October 22, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m, in the City of Santa Maria. During that incident, it was alleged that Amador may have used a firearm. Following the initial incident, Amador fled and had not been located despite ongoing efforts by officers.
On the evening of November 6, officers observed signs of activity at the Chianti Lane residence and made contact. Amador was located inside and taken into custody without incident.
Amador was booked into the Santa Barbara County Northern Branch Jail on the outstanding warrant related to the domestic violence case.
