On February 10, 2026, at approximately 4:50 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of North Broadway for a reported robbery. The victim was robbed at gunpoint, however, was not injured.
Shortly after 6 pm, officers received a second report of an armed robbery in the 1600 block of North Elm Street under similar circumstances.
Officers obtained a description of the suspects and a vehicle involved. A short time later an SMPD K-9 patrol unit located a vehicle matching the provided description. A traffic stop was conducted, and the vehicle was found to be occupied by six juveniles.
All six were detained and subsequently arrested in connection with both robberies. A replica firearm was recovered.
All six juveniles were booked into Santa Maria Juvenile Hall.
